Hook Press Kit
This press kit was originally owned by a Michigan-based film critic who wrote reviews for local papers.
Directed by Steven Spielberg (E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark) and written by James V. Hart (Muppet Treasure Island, Contact), Hook stars Robin Williams as Peter Pan and Dustin Hoffman as Hook. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Visual Effects and remains a cult favorite for fans of imaginative adventure stories.

What are press kits? Press kits like this were once distributed by studios to film critics and movie theaters before a movie's release. Today, press kits are mostly digital, but back in the day they contained branded folders, production information pamphlets, 8x10 still photographs, and 35mm slides.
The Sixth Sense FYC Script
This FYC script was originally owned by a twice Academy Award-nominated crew member who worked on Avatar, Interstellar, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind and died in 2023. He was part of the Academy so the movie studio sent this script to him for awards consideration. You can learn more about the original owner here.
Directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan (Wide Awake, Praying with Anger), The Sixth Sense stars Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment. The film received six Academy Award nominations including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor.

What are FYC scripts? For Your Consideration (FYC) scripts are distributed to members of the academy and other groups that issue awards for movies. First-gen FYCs look like a traditional screenplay (1980s–1990s), second-gen FYCs have a studio cover (1990s–2000s), and third-gen FYCs are smaller book-like screenplays (2010s–present).
Various Press Kits
This press kit and the many others listed by the seller were originally owned by a female film critic based in San Diego who won numerous awards for journalism. She interviewed Paul Newman, Ron Howard, Ashley Judd, and many more actors and filmmakers. The seller said they acquired these from her estate sale. You can learn more about the critic here.
